of you are aware, that the majority of my performances are private and
it has been a busy year so far. I have been asked by my clients and fans
to provide some way to spot when I'll be performing locally in public.
So as requested, I will make my best effort to keep this site current:

Billy Wear, Bassist Kyle Owens and Percussionist Keith Thompson will
join me for this fun time. I'll
be working through a traditional jazz songbook, with a few originals
and pop standards thrown in just for fun! Previous experience with
Kyle's excellent
singing ability, combined with his comfort in Funk Jazz,
Latin Jazz, and Straight-ahead genres, guarantees we have a huge
potential for pleasant surprises...not to mention lots of percussives
between Keith and Billy.. |

This
should be a special night as I return to my organ roots and kick bass
with Drummer Billy Wear and Wolf Marshall on Guitar in the line of the
organ trios of past days. I'll be working through a traditional jazz
songbook, with a few originals and pop standards thrown in just for fun!
We'll take a few blistering runs through tunes just to keep it exciting
before settling down to more sensitive, introspective readings of tunes
like When Sunny Gets Blue, My One and Only Love, Body and Soul, Here's
that Rainy day, etc.

am extremely honored to share the stage with Duncan Moore on Drums
& Bob Magnusson on the Upright Bass. They need no introduction when
it comes to world class creativity. Duncan Moore's
name appears on record and all over town on top shelf event rosters, as
well as a favorite of San Diego's Jazz elite (come and hear why) and Bob Magnusson having
performed and recorded on more than 150 albums, has performed with the
best of our times, and is without dispute, among the best of our times
on his instrument. Simply not to be missed. |
